In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox. Is there a way to get it back?

you can use EDIT and SELECT ALL to find number of emails in Inbox .That is my way to find out.

@Microsoft please reinstate this feature! Seeing a folder quantity is a huge for inbox management.
