Inbox Email Count in New Outlook for Mac

Bring back the counter @Microsoft!

Microsoft - please address this and STOP with the "The new Outlook for Mac is here! The new version will launch the next time Outlook restarts." Why do you insist on forcing me onto this new version that eliminates an important feature, against my wishes? Please stop it!

It's been 2 years, I don't think Microsoft gives AF sadly 😔

I need the total of emails (read and Unread) in that folder (i.e. Inbox). It use to appear in the footer section of the software but it's gone.  It's a very helpful tool to manage your inbox.  Please make it available again.

I also need to be able to see just the emails in a particular day . This used to be possible in old outlook . I could work on todays emails while other days emails were collapsed in previous days or week or month

It may be because of the very large amount of messages you have in your inbox/folder (I am guessing 1,000+); it is only showing messages that are loaded. When you scroll to the bottom of your list, if you see "Load more conversations" you know that it isn't a full count. If you continue scrolling it will eventually load all messages then you can select all to get a full count. But be patient, it may take a few seconds to select them all. (True confession: I have well over 2,500 messages in my inbox. Don't judge me.) Personally, knowing the complete count isn't important for me; my boss keeps her inbox count at almost nothing, she requested I find an answer.
