In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox. Is there a way to get it back?

Come on Microsoft. This is essential and a major functionality of inbox management.
Hi Microsoft Team,
it has been well over 2 years and hundreds of users who are requesting this (presumably simple to implement) count. Can you at least respond as to whether this is on a plan to be rolled out?
Please bring the inbox count back!! It is crucial for management!!!
The "new" outlook keeps forcing itself on me. It "updated" itself to 16.68 and there is no way to Revert to Legacy Outlook as there has been in the past. Once again, the microsoft Nanny knows best. I hate this!
