Inbox Email Count in New Outlook for Mac

In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox.  Is there a way to get it back?

    Does not work in Outlook for Mac OS from what I can see.

    Even that hover over counter doesn't work properly. It's slow and seems to cap out around 1000 items which isn't helpful if you have folders with well in excess of 1000 items.

    My point is that this doesn't work for me! And I wondered if it might be because I'm not a mac user which this thread seems to be specifically about as I don't know why else it wouldn't work for me.

    Hovering nor right clicking shows it :(
