Inbox Email Count in New Outlook for Mac

In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox.  Is there a way to get it back?

    Does not work in Outlook for Mac OS from what I can see.

    My point is that this doesn't work for me! And I wondered if it might be because I'm not a mac user which this thread seems to be specifically about as I don't know why else it wouldn't work for me.

    Hovering nor right clicking shows it :(

    hmm that doesn't seem to work for me.

    Not on mac though so I'm sure that's why but was hoping this thread could help me too :(
