Using older versions of Outlook for Mac for personal email and calendar
When I flip the switch for the "new look", I won't show my local folders on my Mac where I store all my email that I want to save. That makes it unusable for me.

In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox. Is there a way to get it back?

Microsoft clearly doesn't care about it's customers.
Totally. I am battling with the same frustration. No search function with the Classic Outlook on Monterey IOS, so I have to use New Outlook. But then New Outlook does not give the number of emails in my Inbox. Like others in this thread, I used that metric to aid inbox management. Disappointed.
This is really helpful. I am still using the old Outlook but plan to switch over at the beginning of the year. This work around will be very helpful when I do.
Thanks so much for your suggestions!

I need the feature to know how out of control my in box is. I'm going back to the classic version!
