Inbox Email Count in New Outlook for Mac

In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox.  Is there a way to get it back?

    In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox.  Is there a way to get it back?

    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!  I am waiting on you to include the "inbox total" on the new Outlook for Mac.  This tool is a must to start using the new Outlook for Mac.  Microsoft, please listen to you customers and add this feature back into the new Outlook for Mac version like you have on the old version.  Thank you in advance!

    Microsoft - please address this and STOP with the "The new Outlook for Mac is here! The new version will launch the next time Outlook restarts." Why do you insist on forcing me onto this new version that eliminates an important feature, against my wishes? Please stop it!

    Please bring back the email count in the footer!

    It should also say if its connected to the server.

    If you stay on the old Outlook on Office 365 all is good. This was the first thing I noticed when I tried New Outlook. Knowing how many e-mails are in my inbox is a feature I literally use every day. There was no reason to even try it after that. Maybe I don't know how to use e-mail but I cannot an e-mail software  that does not provide this information. It's a dealbreaker.
