Meeting Owner - Series Deleted from my Calendar, but not Other Calendars

Hello,

I am having issues with one of the meeting invites I own. We host a full-team meeting for ~300 people on my team, and I am the Outlook owner of this meeting. Somehow, this meeting was deleted off my calendar, but not from others' calendars on my team. I got it back from my sent/deleted folders, however, now I cannot edit the invite. There are wrong dates reflected in the series and I need to either update it, or delete the series for my team altogether, but I am not able to.

With 300 on the team, I am not able to just blast out an email and tell them to disregard the other thread - it always results in confusion and frustration with that many people.

Any thoughts?

    Hi - I tried your steps however when I am sent the meeting it does not give me the option to "accept" as it states I am the "meeting organizer". i had multiple people send it to me just in case and they all say the same. this has been a nightmare - any other way I can resolve this? please let me know. thanks in advance!

    Don't worry about step 2. You're right, it won't let you accept it.

    Just move on to step 3, saving the meeting as an ics file and then 'import' it. If you can't save it as an ics file, get someone who has the calendar item to save it to a shared folder or a thumb drive and import it from there.

    Instead of sending it to you, ask a colleague to save the calendar item as an ics to a shared folder or thumb drive.

    They do this by opening the calendar item (event or series) and then choose Save As from the File menu.

    Ask them to save it to a location that you can access. If you don't have a shared drive, save the item to a thumb drive.

    From your device, go to the calendar and select File, then select Open and Export, and then choose the Import/Export button.

    Choose the action to Import an iCalendar(.ics) or vCalendar file (.vcs) > Next, navigate to the location of the saved .ics,

    Select the file and then click to Open. If asked, choose to Import.
