in the "Type here to search" box on the Task Bar type > cmd   >choose run as an administrator.. paste the commands into Command Prompt box.

Hit the enter key on the keyboard after pasting each command line.

cd "C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun"

and then

officec2rclient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.12827.20470

UPDATE:

Do nothing, wait.   See:

Microsoft is automatically propagating a fix.....  I am seeing it automatically patch some of my clients i had not fixed yet, that complained earlier..

    I too had the same issue. I uninstalled Office 2019 and re-installed it from the ISO image.

    So far, all is working and it found my previous profile. So, nothing lost (apart from the email signatures).

    HI;

    same issue here, several of my users didn't even want the update, it was forced.

    If the updates <well known MS issue> are causing issues, maybe don't push them on to the users.

    Whats the solution for this, a roll back?  or will there be a patch tomorrow?

    Please advise, this is super annoying, outlook doesn't work well on it's best day already.

    Thanks
