I need to have the CC option on new emails always visible without having to click the button every time. I would like to be able to press TAB after entering recipients and get to the CC field.

I'm on the new version (16.47 for Mac).

Thanks. I was hoping to not have to to any extra clicking to get to the CC field and just hit Tab. I found that I can change the settings to have all new messages appear in a separate window which accomplishes that for me.  See photo here:

Thanks for your help.

Absolutely astounding that this still hasn't been fixed. What on earth was to be gained by doing this?

There's no workaround that works. It is simply wasting time for everyone in the whole world. The option to switch back to legacy has now gone, so we're stuck with this.

It’s absurd. One of the worst decisions idiots made. It’s crazy that this only applies to a mac

Could not agree more. This is insane. They change the CC line from the old version, while allowing an option on the new version to always cc yourself, but not just to always have the cc line. Why change what isn't broken?! Stupid.
