I need to have the CC option on new emails always visible without having to click the button every time. I would like to be able to press TAB after entering recipients and get to the CC field.

I'm on the new version (16.47 for Mac).

Thanks. I was hoping to not have to to any extra clicking to get to the CC field and just hit Tab. I found that I can change the settings to have all new messages appear in a separate window which accomplishes that for me.  See photo here:

Thanks for your help.

    Not quite yet.

There are still many people without the option who are on exact same builds and versions. For the machine without the option, I have tried reinstalling Outlook, updating all MS apps using AutoUpdate, reverting back and forth from legacy Outlook, and even switching the appearance to Dark Mode similar to my setup. Nothing seems to get the CC by default option to appear on the other laptop.

Case closed. New update solves this, thank god.

That's the exact machine and OS that I have, and it's not there in the new outlook. It's in the legacy of course, but not the new.
