I need to have the CC option on new emails always visible without having to click the button every time. I would like to be able to press TAB after entering recipients and get to the CC field.
I'm on the new version (16.47 for Mac).

Thanks. I was hoping to not have to to any extra clicking to get to the CC field and just hit Tab. I found that I can change the settings to have all new messages appear in a separate window which accomplishes that for me. See photo here:

Ok. Apparently customer support was simply BS'ing me about being able to access the Beta program. They said to go to HELP --> CHECK FOR UPDATES --> ADVANCED --> BETA CHANNEL. Does anyone have this option on their Outlook for Mac? Currently I don't even have a CHECK FOR UPDATES option under the menu bar > HELP. I'll try to call Microsoft support tomorrow during business hours to see if I can help the community with a fix.
Oh, thanks for letting me know that about the forced override. I did speak with Microsoft support about this a few minutes ago. They said that there is a feature update coming in about 2 weeks that should resolve this. I'm not 100% sure I believe them but they also said using the Beta version would show this feature update. Haven't tested it yet.
It works until they override your decision and move you to the new version. Multiple times.
Sometimes? They make their decisions based on conference room discussions, not reality.
Apple makes some seriously **** decisions, but at least you get the sense their engineers actually use the products they make.
