I need to have the CC option on new emails always visible without having to click the button every time. I would like to be able to press TAB after entering recipients and get to the CC field.

I'm on the new version (16.47 for Mac).

Thanks. I was hoping to not have to to any extra clicking to get to the CC field and just hit Tab. I found that I can change the settings to have all new messages appear in a separate window which accomplishes that for me.  See photo here:

Thanks for your help.

Another request to allow the CC field to always show. Why would you make hiding it the default?!

I agree. Why has MS made this harder to use and less efficient? Where are the UX people in this? They must assume that most emails are 1 person to 1 person...NOT TRUE in a business setting. CC is on MOST emails. Please correct or offer a preferences setting for this.

Under Outlook Preferences --> Composing, check 'when sending messages, automatically Cc or Bcc myself' and choose Cc from drop down menu. The Cc line will be available to Tab into ...your default email will be automatically populated into the Cc line but can always backspace/delete to remove it if needed. This option also works together with the 'open new messages...' option checked as well.

In an age that each click=time, I agree. Why would they do this?
