How do I remove the Teams meeting link from a calendar invite?!

I purposefully made sure that it was not toggled on. It is for an external meeting so we have to use zoom instead of teams as everyone doesn't have access to teams. When I made an edit to the attendee list it automatically added in a Teams link. I can't remove it and I've searched and searched for a way to remove it. Please help!

Hello Jane,

You can simply click on the Description field and press Ctrl + A to select and then delete Teams meeting link, then use the Zoom meeting Add-ins to insert a link for Zoom meeting and click Send, when the attendees receive the updated meeting invitation email, this meeting will display as a Zoom meeting rather than Teams meeting on their calendar.     Go to your outlook settings and then go to calendar and options. There is box to check that will turn it on everytime or if unchecked, you have to hit the teams button in outlook when making the invite.

    Go to your outlook settings, under calendar, options, uncheck the box that auto sets it up as teams,

    I am having the exact same problem, and this is NOT a meeting I can cancel and reschedule. While when you are in the Outlook invitation on the desktop it does not appear, if people access through their Teams calendar, or on any mobile device at all, the Teams link does not go away. This is a REAL issue since the last update. I have dozens of meetings that I will need to cancel and correct, which I cannot do. I fixed it moving forward by taking out Teams in settings, but any meetings scheduled in the past few weeks are effected.

    I still have not found out how to get the "join teams Meeting" to go away. Sending out the same invite a second time to get it to go away seems completely unprofessional.
