How do I remove the Teams meeting link from a calendar invite?!

I purposefully made sure that it was not toggled on. It is for an external meeting so we have to use zoom instead of teams as everyone doesn't have access to teams. When I made an edit to the attendee list it automatically added in a Teams link. I can't remove it and I've searched and searched for a way to remove it. Please help!

Hello Jane,

You can simply click on the Description field and press Ctrl + A to select and then delete Teams meeting link, then use the Zoom meeting Add-ins to insert a link for Zoom meeting and click Send, when the attendees receive the updated meeting invitation email, this meeting will display as a Zoom meeting rather than Teams meeting on their calendar.     Hello gents,

    I've been reading all the threads hoping to find the solution to the same problem, and for those of you still have the issue I've found the solution: https://neroblanco.co.uk/2021/05/remove-teams-info-from-calendar-invite-dont-host-online/

    It works fine now no more initial Teams remaining links or shortcut!!! :D

    Hi Jennifer,

    I am also having the same problem. I removed the Teams link from adding from the settings, but the invite has already been sent and I am not able to remove it. I did add the Zoom link through outlook, but this still did not remove the Teams link that is embedded in the meeting. e.g. you have Teams the "join online" button. This creates a lot of confusion especially if the meeting is large and resending it creates confusion.

    How do set it so the Teams link does not show up in the first place - when you add/remove attendees?

    I have 120 individual company appointments to add. CTRL-A + delete each time is just daft.

    This is just a +1 that we are having the same issue, and am surprised that there isn't a single workaround. Having to rally large groups of people that accidentally enter the wrong meeting room has been a daily/weekly struggle & very much looking forward to a resolution
