How do I remove the Teams meeting link from a calendar invite?!

I purposefully made sure that it was not toggled on. It is for an external meeting so we have to use zoom instead of teams as everyone doesn't have access to teams. When I made an edit to the attendee list it automatically added in a Teams link. I can't remove it and I've searched and searched for a way to remove it. Please help!

Hello Jane,

You can simply click on the Description field and press Ctrl + A to select and then delete Teams meeting link, then use the Zoom meeting Add-ins to insert a link for Zoom meeting and click Send, when the attendees receive the updated meeting invitation email, this meeting will display as a Zoom meeting rather than Teams meeting on their calendar.     Jennifer, This isn't completely helpful because you still can't toggle off the Teams invite. It still reminds everyone to join the meeting on Teams and they click on it and join the meeting in Teams instead of Zoom.

    Is there a way to do this in O365? Removing the Teams information from the Description of the Invite doesn't get rid of the JOIN TEAMS MEETING button on the invite.

    Hi Jennifer,

    Thanks for the helpful tip on the front end. I am not able to delete this one and start over as it is a big calendar invite with a lot of external parties. I just need to edit it to remove the Teams link. Can you please advise on how to do that?
