Scheduling and managing events using Outlook.com calendar
Same problem for me. Family (group) calendar missing from desktop calendar and Outlook client. Working correctly until yesterday. Web client via outlook.com still displays Family calendar.

Hi.
My family and I have created a Microsoft family group. When clicking the 'plan family events' link in the family home page we are all taken to our personal calendars but there is no 'Family Calendar' under the 'Other Calendars' list. Can someone please suggest a cause of this issue and/or a remedy?
The family calendar has never been visible for any of us and we created the family group approx. 48 hours ago.
Thanks.
Ross

Ditto and same problem with me. Have sent a DM to Outlook's Twitter account.
I'm seeing the same situation - i.e. "Family Calendar" on Outlook Calendar on Android device has disappeared but a 'new item appears called "Your family". Also, on outlook.com, I see a new sub-heading called Group with a calendar called "Your family" appearing which contains the same calendar entries as my old "Family Calendar".
So in summary, looks like the change hasn't rolled out to Win 10 Mail client or the Outlook client desktop app.
Same with me, opened a ticket and linked the chat agent to this thread. They say someone will get back with me within 24 hours... we will see. Will report back if i hear anything.
Yeah. Looks like the 'Family Calendar' has switched from being under 'My Calendars' which allowed it to be view on native iOS app, to 'Groups' which doesnt allow that.
Same issue for us - we were happily using the family calendar on Windows desktop (using Outlook client and native calendar app), Android and Amazon Alexa. This switch which Microsoft didn't tell us about has caused the calendar to be invisible on all apart from Android using outlook app.
It appears to be deliberate:
The key section is in the FAQs at the bottom:
"Can I see the Family group calendar in other applications?
No, the Family group calendar only appears in Outlook.com and Outlook mobile."
So, looks like the calendar can't be seen from Outlook Desktop Client, or from Microsoft Windows native calendar application.
I'm going to try the workaround of manual creating a shared family calendar, but this is very poor management Microsoft.
<updated> I've now setup a calendar called Family and shared it with my family - this works well, and has some benefits over the previous setup (I can give the children edit access and we can edit the calendar from Outlook Client)
