Family Calendar Missing

Hi.

My family and I have created a Microsoft family group. When clicking the 'plan family events' link in the family home page we are all taken to our personal calendars but there is no 'Family Calendar' under the 'Other Calendars' list. Can someone please suggest a cause of this issue and/or a remedy?

The family calendar has never been visible for any of us and we created the family group approx. 48 hours ago.

Thanks.

Ross

I logged a case with Microsoft Outlook.com team, who referred me to the Office team, who then told me it was a server issue and referred me back to the Outlook.com team. I'll keep everyone posted on the progress of this little drama.

I used to following workaround, since Microsoft is "ignoring" us and making us go back and forth between different services...

I used the Outlook client (but this can be done throught the webmail too) and made a new calendar, right-click on it and shared it with my family. They all received an email to accept the calendar sharing and everyone is now happy.

Kids are having the calendar in read-only mode (which I chose) and my wife and I are having full access to this specific calendar.

I did have to make a lot of copy / paste between the "old" calendar (that was still available online) and the new shared calendar that I created on the Outlook application (in my Hotmail's account).

    Not elegant, but working...

Hi Adam, can you tell me where this printscreen is from? Is t outlook.live.com openend in a webbrowser?

I too can see the family calender there, but it is still not visible in the outlook desktop app, nor in ios calendar. (For years it was, untill a few days ago).

Can you see the calender there?

Thanks for your reaction in advance.

    Regards,

    Mariël

I see same behaviour, my Family calendar is relocated to 'Groups'. My problem is that the old Family calendar is gone from our iOS devices and I can't make the new one visible. Did any of you experience same issue?

Update: Now I actually can see the Family Group calendar in my iOS Outlook app but is still doesn't appear in the native iOS calendar app. What I did to solve this problem was to create a new calendar which I shared with my family. Annoying, yes! And double annoying that MS didn't announce this (at least I wasn't aware of it before they removed the 'old' Family Calendar).
