Family Calendar Missing

Hi.

My family and I have created a Microsoft family group. When clicking the 'plan family events' link in the family home page we are all taken to our personal calendars but there is no 'Family Calendar' under the 'Other Calendars' list. Can someone please suggest a cause of this issue and/or a remedy?

The family calendar has never been visible for any of us and we created the family group approx. 48 hours ago.

Thanks.

Ross

I live in Switzerland we use the German Language and have also been affected for about a week. We only see the Family Calendar on Outlook in Android and in Outlook Webmail. I assume our Outlook.com data is on European servers and we are still affected.

Agree - this does seem like a somewhat short sighted change of behaviour - and quite a frustrating one!

Family calendar has now disappeared from all PC based devices (desktops, laptop, surface) in our household!

Only devices that continue to work are our Android mobiles (parents only) which really defeats the purpose - as we're not really mobile at the moment given the COVID-19 lockdowns here in Australia!

Please MS, bring back one of the more useful features of the Windows 10 family ecosystem!

Same here. The Family Calendar disappeared from my Windows 10 Calendar app and from Office 365 Outlook in the last few days. On all my Windows machines. It also had to be added again manually on the web and mobile.

So, looks like Microsoft have decided to cripple it, and make it that Windows 10 cannot natively show your family events. Useless. For me, the whole advantage of the calendar is that it was just one click away on my desktop.

Typical 2010+ arrogant behaviour from a software company; encourage you to use a feature, then kill it without warning. Leaving countless individuals to spend their time looking and then moving data to somewhere else. Pathetic.

I have the same issue since a week or so in the Netherlands. We use the family calendar a lot. In my home we only use Microsoft laptops and tablets or Android phones so my problem is not to big. This is because I can still see the calendar on outlook.com and re-enable (see previous screenshots in this thread) it again on my Android phone (I use the outlook calendar part as default calendar app).

But it is strange that it is not working on the Windows 10 calendar app or Outlook 365.

Outlook 365 was always a mess with the Family calendar part because I could only read those appointment and not edit them (even if I created them from Android or outlook.com) but now there is no family calendar at all.

Can someone confirm it was only read on outlook 365 or did someone got the editing working?

We were not able to edit our family calendar with Outlook 365 either, which was a pain.

I have now setup a new calendar and shared it with my family, and we can now edit in Outlook 365.
