I like the look of the new Outlook for Mac. But the functionality of the Calendar seems to have lost a lot of things compared to the old Outlook. I can't Option-drag a meeting to create a copy on another day or a new time (it's a standard way of doing things on a Mac and worked in the old Outlook) I can't drag an event to another calendar in the section at left to move this event to this calendar. When creating a new event, there's no option to change the reminder time for the event. I have to create the event, save it, open it again, go the event options, change the reminder and I still have to click on two buttons to save the change. Way too much trouble. Am I missing a magic option somewhere? I'm working from home on a Mac, connected to an enterprise version of O365 at my university.

It's not drag-and-drop, but it works for now to create a copy of an Event. Highlight the Event and press Command + Shift + C. Select a calendar you'd like to copy to and click "OK". The new Event copy will show up right next to the original Event if you chose the same calendar where the original Event is located. If you choose to copy the Event to a different calendar, it will show up in that calendar on the same date and time.

Thanks for the tip, it really is a poor show that Microsoft don't provide adequate support to Mac users. And it's a pain that Mac don't make things easier for Windows and Android users, such as file transfer from an Android device.

Still a feature that hasn't been added 3 years later

The answer is to use Parallels , and Outlook in Windows . By all appearances, there is no hope in any other approach. I have been using Parallels now for a month or so, and it works fine, limited to one desktop, though.

Thank you for posting your issue on Microsoft Community. There are several features that aren't yet available in the new Outlook experience and some known issues such as Mail and events can't be moved or copied between accounts. However, our product team is investigating this issue in the new Outlook for Mac. You may switch back by turning off the New Outlook switch to avoid this issue.

This works on Outlook for Mac Calendar Events. It's not drag-and-drop, but it works for now to create a copy of an Event.
1. Highlight the Event and press Command + Shift + C.
2. Select a calendar you'd like to copy to and click "OK".
3. The new Event copy will show up right next to the original Event if you chose the same calendar where the original Event is located. If you choose to copy the Event to a different calendar, it will show up in that calendar on the same date and time.
