I like the look of the new Outlook for Mac. But the functionality of the Calendar seems to have lost a lot of things compared to the old Outlook. I can't Option-drag a meeting to create a copy on another day or a new time (it's a standard way of doing things on a Mac and worked in the old Outlook) I can't drag an event to another calendar in the section at left to move this event to this calendar. When creating a new event, there's no option to change the reminder time for the event. I have to create the event, save it, open it again, go the event options, change the reminder and I still have to click on two buttons to save the change. Way too much trouble. Am I missing a magic option somewhere? I'm working from home on a Mac, connected to an enterprise version of O365 at my university.

Same goes for me. I guess Teams meetings cannot be moved this way. You can get move option with right click for other events.

I have this problem too. In the intervening two years has there really been no progress or fix to this? This is a really basic productivity requirement. I too have a need to duplicate meetings that don't recur on a regular basis that would fit the pattern of a recurring meeting series. E.g. I need to meet with the same team on the same topic on an ad-hoc basis. I have to create a new meeting for each instance. The above workaround by Mark SSSS is not available on my version of Outlook 365 for Mac (Microsoft Outlook for Mac version 16.65 (22091101). There is no Move=>Copy option when I right click (Ctrl-click) There is only Open, Edit, Print, Rely All, New E-mail to Attendees, Forward, Private, Show As, Categorize, and Cancel meeting when I right click. What a productivity killer!

Hi Christian,

Thank you for posting your issue on Microsoft Community. There are several features that aren't yet available in the new Outlook experience and some known issues such as Mail and events can't be moved or copied between accounts. However, our product team is investigating this issue in the new Outlook for Mac. You may switch back by turning off the New Outlook switch to avoid this issue.
