On some inbound emails I am receiving a banner above the email text that says Connectors - placeholder. We have no idea what it is or why it's suddenly there starting this week. Some emails have it and some don't. Doesn't matter if they are internal company emails or external emails.
We've checked add-ins, social setting, etc and now been able to get this to go away. It does now show up on the web or mobile, and doesn't show up in Sent messages either.
Any way to get rid of this? It's super annoying and takes up unneeded space.

Same issue here on MSFT 365. Started yesterday and I can't seem to read the actual substance of these emails. Very frustrating and keeping me from getting work done / responding to emails. I suppose it's helpful to see it's not just me since perhaps MSFT will do something to correct it.
I am having the exact same problem and is just started yesterday, July 20, 2020. I have not changed any settings that I know of at all.
I'm getting the issue on emails from people within my company, so I'm not thinking it is a bulk mail issue.
Can confirm we're also having the issue. It started yesterday for us as well. It stops loading of the entire message in Outlook live, so most times I cannot read the email. I thought at first it might be caused by an ad-blocker, but I tried with a fresh browser and still experience the issue.
We're having the same issue in our org. Affected users can't read emails where this issue appears. if they wait for 5 or 10 minutes, the body of the email finally loads.
