Outlook Calendar Reminders Not Working

since the "update" to Microsoft 365 a couple weeks ago, Outlook reminders are only working some of the time. I've missed a couple meetings because either I never got the reminder or I snoozed it and it never showed.

I ran outlook.exe /cleanreminders but it didn't do anything.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I left out one more Microsoft technology, Microsoft is adding functionality to - Cortana. Since my posting on December 5th, I have uninstalled Windows Mail & Calendar, but I did not sign out of Cortana. I just received a calendar reminder from Cortana on December 19th. I closed the reminder announcement without pressing anything on the Windows announcement. Opened Outlook 365, and you guessed it, no reminder window in Outlook 365. I have signed out of Cortana. Hopefully, that might help with the Outlook 365 reminders not working.

Also, from the other postings above, I have turned off the calendar announcements from Outlook for Android on my phone. Seem to help, but forgot to sign out of Cortana.

Continuing unhappy Outlook 365 user. :-(

I am having the same problem with reminders in Outlook 365. Most of the time they don't work. Since the Spring of 2020.

I have noticed Microsoft is adding more and more functionality to Outlook.com, Android app, iOS app, and the Mail & Calendar app in Windows 10. All of these are synced together - Outlook 365 with Outlook.com, with Outlook for Android, with Outlook for iOS, with the Mail & Calendar app in Windows 10. I bet the synchronization between these different platforms are the troublemakers.

Don’t use my phone much since Covid, but I am hours on my computer every day. Microsoft, please fix the reminders in Outlook 365.

    Unhappy Outlook 365 user :-(

Same problem here. Meeting reminders have been increasingly sporadic and unreliable on Outlook desktop (for Mac, v. 16.24).

I just went through and tried re-saving my recurring meetings, sometimes altering the amount of time for the reminder. I made sure to always edit the series, not just the occurrence. As I did this, I had several odd reminders pop up. Almost like I was getting them un-stuck. For example, I re-saved a series I've had running for a couple years, and it triggered a reminder for a meeting in August!

TBD if that helps going forward. (EDIT: It didn't. Next meeting on the calendar failed to trigger its reminder.) Best guess is that maybe at some point I altered an instance of the series and it messed up the notifications, and they can't get back on track as the series continues. Might try deleting series entirely and re-scheduling. But that's impractical for some meetings with others without bugging everyone to re-accept invites.

Significant bug, really needs addressing. Happy to provide more debugging information!

I can't deal with this any longer. What other options are there? The Windows calendar app would be fine but it doesn't show group calendars so that's out.

What other apps have people tried and can recommend?
