Changing Font on Outlook Mobile App for Android

Is it possible to change the font on the Outlook mobile app for android? I don't see an option to change the font within the actual app and even if I change the font for the entire phone it still appears as Calibri. I want to change it to Times New Roman (consistent with my desktop default font). I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S10+, but I do not think that makes a difference.

    Here is a workaround that seems to be working for me.

    • Open the Outlook mobile app.
    • Open and copy a few lines of text including a blank line from an email that has the desired font.
    • Go to settings and then signature. Paste the copied text.
    • Delete all the pasted text except for the single blank line.
    • You can add a signature below that blank line if desired (even with a different font if you do another copy-paste).
    • Save and close.

    Everytime you create or reply to an email, the signature gets auto added and the font is preset. Typing below the auto added blank line will use that font. You can delete the blank line afterwards.

    Hi, this is the best workaround I've seen so far, but there are a couple of minor issues:

    1. Any new email that is opened has a 'default' new 1st line inserted above the line created by adding a signature. This new default line is in the default font of the app, not the font you selected in the signature (which is now the 2nd line). You have to go to the 2nd line and then backspace back to delete the 'default' 1st line.
    2. The lines inserted by the signature are indented by a couple of keystrokes so they're not aligned with the left margin.

    This might just be the way that I inserted text from a signature, and it's workable, but involves a few extra steps to set up the email.

    I don't care if the administrator kicks me out, I have a solution.

    There's another alternative. Use another mail client that can all the requested. Unless there is a rule from your company that prohibits using anything but MS Outlook. That's the case with me. And it frustrates me.

    Unless you have a rule like this I suggest alternative client (nine), it's worth every penny.

    You can change the font, the size, set the default values. Also, you can make a signature as on the desktop version. Even add pictures.

    There is no need for any workaround.
