Changing Font on Outlook Mobile App for Android

Is it possible to change the font on the Outlook mobile app for android? I don't see an option to change the font within the actual app and even if I change the font for the entire phone it still appears as Calibri. I want to change it to Times New Roman (consistent with my desktop default font). I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S10+, but I do not think that makes a difference.

    All - I have struggled with the font issue, when Replying to emails from the Outlook app in my Android phone, and the only solution I have found is when I reply from my phone, I have to pop out the whole message (and/or 'Load Full Message'), then type my response at the top.  It does not seem to work when Replying from the Quick Response field at the bottom of the message.

    Thank you so much, Greg - this worked for me! When I click "Load full message" and type, my font is much more reasonable in size. I don't seem to have the "pop-out" feature or the "quick response" one, but load full message will work fine for me I think. Really appreciate your posting.

    Well, there is no such option to change the font. However, there is a workaround for this. But for that, you should have Microsoft Word installed on your smartphone. Obviously, in most of the cases, we usually don't require formatted texts in emails. However, meticulously drafted emails requires so, and the effort that I am about to tell seems to be justified until the in-built text formatting features are not available in the app itself.

    What you are required to do is, draft your email in a new word document on the phone. Then do the necessary changes that you require with the text, for example, make the text justified if you wanted in your email. Similarly, add line spacing and do other necessary paragraph formatting.

    Then copy the whole text. And head back to the outlook app. Compose a new mail, and in the main text area, paste the document. Make sure that the text is already formatted for final sending. It isn't advised to change the font and other things in the outlook app. Do it in word itself. After pasting in the main body of the email, you will get the desired formatted text. Voila!

    If Microsoft is deliberately withholding this text formatting feature in Outlook app for making users to buy the subscription, I really wish that they don't read my text. LMAO
