Changing Font on Outlook Mobile App for Android

Is it possible to change the font on the Outlook mobile app for android? I don't see an option to change the font within the actual app and even if I change the font for the entire phone it still appears as Calibri. I want to change it to Times New Roman (consistent with my desktop default font). I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S10+, but I do not think that makes a difference.

    The problem is not about the font the app uses, because the app DOESN'T SPECIFY A FONT. This means that the font used for display is whichever font has been set as default in the client where the email is received.

    Outlook for Android uses a <body> tag for normal text and gives you two other options - subhead and Title. All either of those does is to add a bold attribute to the text. You can check this by sending yourself an email and looking at the raw HTML of the message.

    People report seeing different things because they are reading the emails using different clients, or clients with different default fonts set.

    sure, I saved word file in my one drive with my company signature, every time I want to add my signature just, I open the word file on from my android phone select and copy/paste the signature to the email, the signature will be pasted with font type/size & color.

    it take few steps steps, it does the work.

    So, Bassam, aren't you going to reveal your workaround for the phone app? I have a Samsung Android device but, I suppose, the workaround should work on iOS as well (or vice versa).

    the issue not in Outlook.com (hotmail.com).

    the issue is on Outlook Android & IOS app, where you can't customize font size & font color for the signature but I found a way to work around it

    I do not have the answer but I do have a work around. If you copy pasta an ‘e-signature’ you have set up on your work station prior to an email on the mobile app, it is possible to copy that signature, then start typing off of the format you have on the signature on your body paragraph thus changing your format for the entire email. (*NOTE: You will have to do this each time you want to change the font on mobile for a professional email.*)

    Explained Version:

    Open Outlook on your Laptop/Computer Workstation. Navigate to “File” in the top left hand corner of the app. Next in the lower left hand corner, click “Options.” From there you will want to click on “Mail” and under composed messages, the third option down will have the prompt “Create or modify signatures for messages.” Click the “Signatures…” button to the right of it to edit your signature how you wish. Make sure to click “OK” after you are finished.

    Short Version:

    Outlook>File>Options>Mail>Signatures…>(Insert custom signature here)>OK

    Pain in the butt I know, however it’s nice to know if you’re laptop dies on you out in the field and you’re in a pinch. Hope this helps and as always have a great rest of your day.
