Changing Font on Outlook Mobile App for Android

If I wanted what the company gave us I'd have bought a Apple product.

And where did you get this "creators" word? We're talking software products, not YouTube videos here.

I have never worked for MS but in my IT career I've been employed by and contracted into dozens of large North American-headquartered companies. In particular, US-based companies are always interested in customer feedback (at least until their dying days). It is big problem with Canadian customers that they are happy to suffer in silence before slinking off to find a new replacement supplier. It is a particularly big problem here in Canada for Canadian companies because the majority of their business is often from customers who silently switch suppliers without ever giving feedback as to what is wrong.

Outlook is a Microsoft product, Microsoft management, its designers, its developers, and its testers are supposed to care about customer needs and desires -- an I am sure that the ones that have good performance reviews really do. *They are not well served by suggestions that customers we silence themselves and make do with what they've already provided.*Customer-specific fonts and formatting are important for most paying Office365 customers, since they are businesses and organizations their marketing and legal departments need to present a consistent image to their customers. Customer-specific formating is an important feature for Microsoft to maintain on new platforms like Android, just as it maintained it when Office was extended to the MacOS platform.

Is it possible to change the font on the Outlook mobile app for android? I don't see an option to change the font within the actual app and even if I change the font for the entire phone it still appears as Calibri. I want to change it to Times New Roman (consistent with my desktop default font). I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S10+, but I do not think that makes a difference.

Please stop blaming the creators. They provide us with something better than nothing. If you think outside the box, you still have the option to set the default font according to your preference.

This is not acceptable. How can we push to Microsoft to support this?

The problem I have is my sent texts, when I type them they're in aerial I think, after I've sent it, I then read it in the sent folder and text is all swirly. I don't know how the recipient receives it.

The swirly fonts are hard to read. Can't find where or if you can change the font.

Seems crazy to take this facility away.

Well, you can change the default font settings from within a browser on a laptop, for example.

However, it unfortunately doesn't solve the problem. 

The problem (for me, at least) is that you cannot change any fonts within the standalone app on a phone or from within a browser on a phone. Mine default to Segoe UI 12 pt.
