I'm getting the error message below when save a draft email. I have IMAP account set up on Outlook 365.

"The item cannot be saved because it was changed by another user or in another window.  Do you want to make a copy in the default folder for the item?"

Thank you for posting. This is known issue. Our Outlook team is actively investigating this problem. In the meantime, you may please use the workaround mentioned in the article Unable to save changes to a draft email in Draft folder for IMAP accounts

    Thank you, JPFM.  A very thoughtful and respectful reply.

    I doubt Microsoft is working on this issue.  I think it would show respect to their customers were they to be forthcoming about their response.

    What is the timetable for this repair?  It's been a known issue for quite some time now, and it is a major inconvenience. 

    In addition to interrupting workflow, it prevents the User from experiencing Outlook's potential otherwise.  For me personally, the net impact of this singular issue outweighs any benefits and I'd be much happier with Outlook 2010.

    My work around is to close the open item and say no to saving.  Then open it again, download the pictures and click on the save icon in the upper left corner (Ctrl+S should work also, but I always just click on the little diskette).
