When I try to add a new Office 365 email to my outlook I get the error below.   I think it's because of my "Work or school account" which I want to remove. I'm not sure how my email was signed up for this second account. I set up this computer for home use only, I won't be using any of the Microsoft Azure features.

My question is, what will happen when I remove my “work account” and leave my Microsoft account?  Everything is backed up on Onedrive, I just don’t know what to expect because when I went to remove it, it warned me about losing data and settings.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I agree with Paco CC 1000% - where is MICROSOFT in fixing this issue?

As Paco CC forcefully declares, people are LOSING THEIR JOBS on this issue...

Microsoft is valued at $2 TRILLION dollars!  They need to FIX THIS ISSUE!

Just "Google" this error and there are THOUSANDS of users being impacted and for a LONG TIME - it is PARALYZING and PUNITIVE - just FIX IT!

    Hi Anna

I see that you are listed as a Microsoft Agent and moderator for this forum.  I think that means that you are a Microsoft employee, and I would hope that means you have some means to provide feedback to a customer support group at Microsoft.

Would you please find some way to add this "password amnesia" and TPM error to some development list that someone actually cares about?  It seems that the masses that are seeing this critical error and loss of functionality are unable to wake anyone at Microsoft that can do more than flip to the appropriate page in the customer service guide and read their sincere apology that we are experiencing this issue.

As I mentioned in a previous post I have worked for a couple larger software companies including as a Field Product Manager.  I have never seen nor do I ever care to see again the multitude of walls and barriers that Microsoft has erected to keep valuable feedback from returning to the person(s) in charge and destroying their fragile view that these problems do not ultimately rest on their shoulders.

As users we have tried a multitude of hacks, prayers, and probably even some violence against our computers to try to fix these problems.  These issues are repeatable and verifiable.  These issues have not been fixed since the initial rollout of build 2004.  I can't begin to estimate the amount of collective time and effort that has been expended by the many users and IT people trying to fix these problems.

Can you help in some way?
