Add new contact button missing from Outlook

I access my work Outlook online and am no longer able to add new contacts. I do not see the option for "Add New Contact" anywhere. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Have you found a solution?

    Hi everyone, Experienced same problem of no new contact button. two things:

    1. I saw microsoft techie responded they're aware of problem and will solve....
    2. A good workaround. If you have outlook.live on android phone, it still has +create a new contact function available.

    Hope this helps everyone.

    My work around:

    1. I sent myself a test email from another account
    2. In the inbox, click on the email. then the email address, should bring up an overview, select contact and then add to contacts.
    3. This brings up the add contact page, Change the info from the test email to the info of the actual contact you want to save, then hit create.
    4. Go back to step 2 and repeat for each desired new contact.

    Wow, I just wasted an hour trying to figure out what I did wrong. Tried 2 browsers. How can this stuff get out of MS.? I guess an update will come sometime soon! Craig

    I, too, tried to add a new contact to my Outlook 365 email address book this morning. The "add new contact" button was available under Outlook People several days ago, but it was nowhere to be found today.
