Indexing problems Outlook - Windows 11

After contacting Microsoft and, 3 times technicians connecting remotely to my pc without finding the issue, i opted to purchase Microsoft Office Professional 2021 for Windows: Lifetime License on stacksocial.com for $29.

I don't like the search bar location, and it's not possible to change it's location" but the indexing now works very well.

My update: After doing all the updates and finally an in-place re-install of Windows 11, the system has started to indexing the last elements in Outlook and it worked

Unfortunatelly, the problem is now returned :-(

I first posted this issue in December 2021 after dealing with it for a month or so by myself.

Eventually after doing every suggestion possible I reverted my computer back to Windows 10 Pro.

My indexing problems went away immediately.

Approximately one month ago i accidently agreed to update my computer to Windows 11 and as the system was there, i thought i would try and use Outlook again. Ran my computer for the 4 day long weekend that we just had and it could not index.

Before i went back to work, i reinstalled Windows 10 Pro and let the system index. It took about 4 hours and my system was back to normal. - the search and indexing system works - but just not if you have Windows 11 it seems.

I am not a professional IT person, but i know what i did and what works.

At this point, is quite certain that the issue is rooted to Windows 11. All my customers with windows 10 haven't experienced this issues at all. Not all of my customers upgraded from win10 to win11 have also experienced the problem. It's something that affect only windows 11 upgraded from win 10 and with Office 2016/2019 and not M365.

Unfortunatelly I can't reverse back to Windows 10 because they use PC at work and they cannot wait.

I will try with Microsoft365 upgrade demo (if it exists)
