Outlook for Android opening links in internal browser

Hi, I noticed that all my links in my Android Outlook app open in an in build browser instead of the app, (such as youtube) This is really frustrating as I have to do other steps to find the option to 'Open in browser' so it then opens in the youtube app. This is for all links amazon, twitter etc.

Is there any way to disable this option? I am unable to find it in settings withtin the app.

Thanks

That definitely did not fix it. The amount of wild guesses here is staggering.

Sorry, perhaps the corporate version really is different.

Can you check if Edge is set as default.

    Go to settings.

    Then look for Apps

Scroll down to edge and select it.

Scroll down to "set as default"

Do you have any defaults?  If yes. Clear them.

The other option is you have to uninstall Edge. This should force Outlook to ask you which other app you want to use.

Ps.  Sadly I am not an expert. Just an everyday regular guy.  Sorry for all  the guessing.

I've already tried both with Chrome as default and with no default. Outlook seems to completely ignore Android's intent system and hard-code Edge as the browser.

From the outlook app for Android Click the House Icon>Settings Icon>scroll down to "Preferences">Use Default Browser>on or off.
