Hi, I noticed that all my links in my Android Outlook app open in an in build browser instead of the app, (such as youtube) This is really frustrating as I have to do other steps to find the option to 'Open in browser' so it then opens in the youtube app. This is for all links amazon, twitter etc.
Is there any way to disable this option? I am unable to find it in settings withtin the app.

Glad I not going mad same has happened to me after update and have spent ages trying to sort. Yes can go to bottom of outlook browser to open but adding in more time, which is annoying.
It's not progress when you have so many complaints. Time to look for a different email provider...
Yes, please allow us to disable this.
I solved the issue by uninstalling the app, and installing the previous version.

Of course, you have to disable auto-update.
I hope it will be fixed with the next update, but for now it works fine.
Dear Microsoft, this update is annoying your users. Do you (1) want to roll back the forced outlook browser (when a link is clicked in Outlook for Android), or (2) will we follow a similar path as you did for IE: users simply stop using it and the application will be discontinued after another 10 years when you have caught up and find out forcing your will upon your users simply does not work?
Try uninstalling the Outlook app and then reinstalling. I had to do it twice back to back, but I havent had any further issues and its been over a month. I suspect i may have to do it again when they do regularly scheduled updates, but ill see. I think its a small price to pay to keep my 20 year old hotmail account.
