Outlook for Android opening links in internal browser

Hi, I noticed that all my links in my Android Outlook app open in an in build browser instead of the app, (such as youtube) This is really frustrating as I have to do other steps to find the option to 'Open in browser' so it then opens in the youtube app. This is for all links amazon, twitter etc.

Is there any way to disable this option? I am unable to find it in settings withtin the app.

Thanks

Yeah within a day the app reverted back to opening hyperlinks in the internal browser without a reboot to the phone.

I have now done a reboot but that did not change anything on the app.

Sadly this s is not a fix.  I contacted microsoft directly through the outlook app support request and was advised the launching in the outlook app internal browser is not configurable and is working as designed.

Perhaps even worse is links that refrr to apps i have installed like limkedin or amazon dont laumch the native app either and open the internal outlook browser.  By this microsoft is ignoring the android config data that in my case is set to open these as "default apps'

Sadly i too will now remove this app.

Try rebooting your phone and check again, mine after the reboot reverted back to the internal browser.

Had the same issue, fixed it by reinstalling the app.

I had this issue as well but as was suggested I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it and no more issue. Hyperlinks opened into my default browser again.

Had the same issue, fixed it by reinstalling the app.

Edit: after a few hours I rebooted my phone and the problem arose again.
