Outlook for Android opening links in internal browser

Hi, I noticed that all my links in my Android Outlook app open in an in build browser instead of the app, (such as youtube) This is really frustrating as I have to do other steps to find the option to 'Open in browser' so it then opens in the youtube app. This is for all links amazon, twitter etc. 

Is there any way to disable this option? I am unable to find it in settings withtin the app.

    I'm sad that this problem has manifested for 2 months now and we are a ball that one customer support tosses to the other.

    Still, amid those circumstances the dev team saw fit to update the app with lgbtq trivial updates but noooooo, not this serious issue. From the other posts I have concluded that the devs just don't care, neither am I. I have one star reviewed it, uninstalled it and forwarded to my gmail account. Good riddance M$.

    Bravo, muss ich also euren Müll Browser zwangsmäßig jedes mal schließen und mir bleibt nicht die Option frei für einen eigenen Standard Browser ? (ohne Umwege) Outlook werde ich jetzt deinstallieren! Dann sollen alle App Entwickler ihren eigenen in-app Browser anbieten ? Bin raus!

    I just used the in-app support and got this answer:

    "Hi Kristian,

    Good day. We recently rolled out the Edge Webview Integration.

    When users tap a link in an email or event in Outlook, it will now open in an integrated Edge webview within Outlook, instead of launching the user's default web browser.

    If a user needs to open a link in their browser he/she will need to click the link, then tap on the overflow menu at the bottom and choose "Open in Browser" (see attached)

    If you want to have this disabled which is not possible at the moment,

    I highly encourage you to please send a feature request to our development team:

    I also have the same problem. 

    I click on a link from an email in Outlook and it opens in an internal browser. There is a swipe menu that you can then open it in your regular browser. 

    Facebook has a similar situation which they have a setting to open in outside browser only.

    This is not kosher in my view - hasn't MS gotten in trouble before by monopolizing apps?

    But if it's a link to an app you already have installed it prompts you to download it again. It's simply not good enough on MS's part. Why break something that worked perfectly fine.
