Outlook for Android opening links in internal browser

Hi, I noticed that all my links in my Android Outlook app open in an in build browser instead of the app, (such as youtube) This is really frustrating as I have to do other steps to find the option to 'Open in browser' so it then opens in the youtube app. This is for all links amazon, twitter etc.

Is there any way to disable this option? I am unable to find it in settings withtin the app.

Thanks

The fix is to uninstall and reinstall the Outlook app.

Shocking how Outlook cheekily added this "feature" with no option to disable. Nothing but intentionally abusing the users by making them use the edge webview ****. It doesn't even load the sites properly and don't allow upload switch to work

Until microsoft sort it out and provide an option to disable.... I just use outlook on chrome app but put a shortcut on the desktop. Opens it like an app. Works a treat and opens likes in chrime like how everyone wants. :)

Clearing storage worked for me. Hope it holds out for more than a week. For some reason I prefer the Outlook app to the Gmail app... and this is after years of using the Gmail app almost exclusively for my "home" email.

I saw someone else mentioned Samsung mail.

What other mail apps do people like?

    EDITED to say:

This didn't last. Back to opening links within the app by 10/5. Only three days.  Sigh...

People in my company have started complaining about this problem too.

As the 'IT guy', I'm afraid I'll need to configure their email accounts in the Gmail app and tell them to use that.
