Hi, I noticed that all my links in my Android Outlook app open in an in build browser instead of the app, (such as youtube) This is really frustrating as I have to do other steps to find the option to 'Open in browser' so it then opens in the youtube app. This is for all links amazon, twitter etc.
Is there any way to disable this option? I am unable to find it in settings withtin the app.

May be a bit late to this but I would when you go into the outlook app on your phone, then go to settings. There's a toggle switch that says "use default app".
Tried an email with a link and my phone then opened Chrome.

What's a dingus feature.
I love the in-app browser trying to login with MFA code emailed to outlook which is currently on the login screen you have to exit for the code. What a trip! Totally ridiculous.
Consider fixing it if only to get better click analytics. Your average moron probably plays a best of three and then promises to never try that again, but 20 minutes later, same stupid game. Rematch!
Remove app, install app.. worked for me
Ah, I checked to see if had updates to do, but it said it was uptodate with an old date ...so the outlook app is not updating ...
So remove app and install app, its updated with a better release date, and works again...
It's easy to see why they're doing it. Their browsers are loaded with trashy links that they make money from. No opt out options like Chrome.
Most offensive at all is the advertising outweighs the content. The endless string of links in the URL bar is disgusting!
What on earth are you talking about? I get the exact same page, no matter what browser I use or if I get redirected to the app
