Outlook for Android opening links in internal browser

Hi, I noticed that all my links in my Android Outlook app open in an in build browser instead of the app, (such as youtube) This is really frustrating as I have to do other steps to find the option to 'Open in browser' so it then opens in the youtube app. This is for all links amazon, twitter etc. 

Is there any way to disable this option? I am unable to find it in settings withtin the app.

    Hey everyone,

    So as it seems a new version of Outlook finally enables the "Use default browser" feature.
    As of now it is possible to use Chrome by default...

    No seriously, what did they want? The in-app browser, if you download a file through it, guess what? It is stored in a hidden folder from Outlook's app and you just can't access it (well, without rooting device).

    So...

    Thank God they gave us back a few options here, right.
    Damn.

    Exactly, it only opens the default browser. As soon as a link is tied to an app, the app still opens in Outlook

    I can see the "Use Default Browser" option now.

    I enabled the option to use default browser but it didn't resolve the opening of the app inside Outlook.

    My app is still opening in Outlook.

    I have installed Outlook on another device and logged in with my personal account. I still didn't get the "Use Default Browser" option.

    This device doesn't have MS 365 Enterprise or Teams installed.

    Installed Outlook version is 4.2048.4

    Device is Nokia 6.1, Android 10

    With this Outlook "feature" my app is almost unusable with Outlook.

    In my app:

    User receives an email with a link to launch my app

    User clicks the link and my app opens up with Outlook

    My app starts with OTP screen and OTP is sent as an email to Outlook

    User launches outlook and see the OTP (by now my app is closed)

    User again click the link and my app is launched with a new OTP :(

    End user will never believe it's an Outlook issue, for them the issue is with my app.

    Yeah, this is really annoying! And I only have it from an end user's perspective!

    If I click a link from Marktplaats (Dutch eBay) it opens the app IN Outlook and shows me the found adverts. Then I have to go back, back and back to get back to my E-mail/Outlook. If I just go to a different app and later on open Outlook again it looks like it doesn't open Outlook, but opens that Markplaats app. Now, I know that it is within Outlook, but I can definitely understand that some people would get confused.
