Outlook for Android opening links in internal browser

Hi, I noticed that all my links in my Android Outlook app open in an in build browser instead of the app, (such as youtube) This is really frustrating as I have to do other steps to find the option to 'Open in browser' so it then opens in the youtube app. This is for all links amazon, twitter etc.

Is there any way to disable this option? I am unable to find it in settings withtin the app.

Thanks

Hmm very strange. Maybe only appears when you have changed your default browser to something other than the factory settings?

At least you managed to change the setting before it pulled a Houdini on you!

Thanks. I found it the other day. But actually the option is now gone! It's like they are switching the visibility of this setting on and off. Weird.

They added a setting to use default browser. In the app click on the settings gear icon, scroll down to preferences and check the box for use default browser.

    Hope this helps.

Hi, not sure if this issue is still ongoing but I had the exact same issue and fixed it by going onto the Outlook app, going to settings & then right at the bottom there's an option to use default browser. Make sure this is on and it use Chrome or whatever you have set as your default!
