Outlook for Android opening links in internal browser

Hi, I noticed that all my links in my Android Outlook app open in an in build browser instead of the app, (such as youtube) This is really frustrating as I have to do other steps to find the option to 'Open in browser' so it then opens in the youtube app. This is for all links amazon, twitter etc.

Is there any way to disable this option? I am unable to find it in settings withtin the app.

Thanks

This was first pointed out in this thread at the start of November, when this choice was added to the Android client.

    Hi,

you need to go to the settings icon by clicking on your profile in the top right-hand corner and scrolling down to Preferences and turning on "Use Default browser"

Latest update here. No such option. I have seen it previously, but it's like they hide/unhide it somehow, based on goodness knows what condition.

Hi, I'm unsure if this is due to a new update or not, as its now March 2021 and I had the same problem but if you click home, then settings and scroll to the very bottom. The 3rd setting from the bottom lets you toggle to use your phones default browser and in my case it now lets me open links directly into chrome.
