Outlook for Android opening links in internal browser

Hi, I noticed that all my links in my Android Outlook app open in an in build browser instead of the app, (such as youtube) This is really frustrating as I have to do other steps to find the option to 'Open in browser' so it then opens in the youtube app. This is for all links amazon, twitter etc.

Is there any way to disable this option? I am unable to find it in settings withtin the app.

Thanks

Ok, this is something different. Perhaps you don't have a default browser set in your Android settings?

If on Android level no default browser is set, it is impossible to point to "the default browser" from the app

Okay, so I have the "Use Default Browser" but it's greyed out and I can't turn it on. It's a private email so no corporate restrictions, but this in app browser is killing me. Does anyone else have this issue with a solution?

I've tried the reinstall 3 times and still no bueno.

Perhaps someone should lock this thread. Some people don't notice the answer has been given a long time ago.

But hey....why not through it out there time and again?

I was able to fix it by going into settings on my outlook app. I enabled default browser and clicked on web browser option and used my safari app as my browser. After that, it went back to normal. Hope this helps.

    Settings in app

At the bottom toggle button use default browser.

Wut?! Wait! Why hasn't anyone said this?! I'm switching to Apple!
