Outlook for Android opening links in internal browser

Hi, I noticed that all my links in my Android Outlook app open in an in build browser instead of the app, (such as youtube) This is really frustrating as I have to do other steps to find the option to 'Open in browser' so it then opens in the youtube app. This is for all links amazon, twitter etc. 

Is there any way to disable this option? I am unable to find it in settings withtin the app.

    Remove app, install app.. worked for me

    Ah, I checked to see if had updates to do, but it said it was uptodate with an old date ...so the outlook app is not updating ...

    So remove app and install app, its updated with a better release date, and works again...

    It's easy to see why they're doing it. Their browsers are loaded with trashy links that they make money from. No opt out options like Chrome.

    Most offensive at all is the advertising outweighs the content. The endless string of links in the URL bar is disgusting!

    What on earth are you talking about? I get the exact same page, no matter what browser I use or if I get redirected to the app

    Ok folks - there is some development on this!

    (for those who have NOT had the "use default browser" option due to using outlook for work via InTune / Company portal)

    I had to reinstall Company Portal, and now it creates a separate profile on my phone for Personal and Work. For Outlook in particular, now there is a list of all my personal accounts, and a button for work, but instead of all emails for all accounts being listed there, the Company button takes me to another instance of Outlook where i only see work emails.

    So now, on the personal instance of Outlook, the "use default browser" is there. That is the good news. Links for Linkedin now open in the app.

    Links for Aliexpress (my go-to test subject for this issue, since it is one of the most annoying ones when they open inside Outlook) still open in Outlook. I'll message Outlook help to see what's up.
