Outlook for Android opening links in internal browser

What a terribly unhelpful response.

I reinstalled Outlook like others mention and at first it works opening links in your cjosen external browser.

A few seconds later it flashed up saying my Privacy settings had been (copied?) From Outlook or Office 365.  I've logged into both and have been unable to find such a setting but it may be there is one there somewhere.

Even better, I already use Edge. Nothing carries over into the app. Maybe if it were a sand boxed tool for opening links I could see some use. As it is it's time to find a nee mail client.

His is the first post I've come across that describes the exact same problem I've been having. It's SUPER annoying since it doesn't recognize ANY saved passwords and if I want to go back to my email but keep the link open, I have to select the Open in Browser open THEN go back to the app, close out that "browser" before I can get into my email. So many unnecessary clicks/steps. It just started in the past few weeks so it must've been part of a recent update. I would LOVE to see a fix, disable option, something... because it's really annoying.

Thank you.  I did use outlooks built in support and  that was useless.  They basically told me deal with it because this is the future and that i could always long click the the link and choose "open in browser". Well guess  what, thats not an option when i long click a url in outlook.  The only options it gives is "open link" which just opens in the outlook internal edge browser or "copy link" so im forced to copy the link close outlook and then  open chrome paste the link go to the url.  Chrome already has login credentials cached browser history everything.  This trimmed down version of edge is just a pain.  Another total pain this creates is if you ever open a link in outlook and download something through this dumbed down version of edge all your downloads go to

"/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.microsoft.office.outlook/files"

So thats wonderful doesnt even save it to the downloads folder like a real browser does it dumps it in the outlook attachments folder and since this isnt a full browser theres no place to change it.
