lol good luck with that ****. You better look elsewhere because gmail app is worst. Maybe some other mail client can fit your needs.

If you recall, I uninstalled/reinstalled the Outlook app back in September and it has been working fine for me. It still is, so I encourage you to try it as well. (Side note: I had to do it twice back to back.) Some have reported this fix doesnt work for them, others say it worked - hopefully it will work for you!

I did notice something new tonight that led me to believe there was an update to the Outlook app. Remember, I said back in September that I suspect I may have to reinstall again if Outlook pushes another update, so I was happy to be able to test this out. 

I just clicked a link in a retailer's sale email and I received a pop-up to open in Chrome "just once" or "always" OR open in the retailer app "just once' or ''always". Interestingly, I had already done this in the past for this retailer. 

I checked the app history and Outlook sent an update on October 14, which erased my preference to open this retailer's links in Chrome "always". I clicked Chrome "always" and it opened in Chrome. I then went back to the email to try it again and thankfully, it still opened in Chrome and not the stupid Outlook browser.

This means if you are one of those who can fix the issue by reinstalling, you won't have to keep reinstalling every time they send an update in order to keep the fix.

well I deleted the data in the app and it worked again... at least for outlook (google news for example is keep the behavior, I will try facebook lite where I have the same problem as well).

Weird, but it worked. But this is by no means a permanent solution, because I had to add my 3 mails from scratch and setup them again.
