Outlook displays scrambled text, screen all over the place

Hi,

I have a user who has been having an issue with opening Outlook. when opening outlook the entire display shows scrambled text and missing tabs, this occurs randomly and seems to not have a pattern. I can close and re open Outlook and the problem will go away. This is Outlook on Office 365, Version 2112(Build 14729.20260) I have been working with the user for almost a month and have tried applying Dell Command updates, changed screen resolutions, disabled add-ins, ran Office repair, uninstalled and re-installed office, applied latest Office and windows updates and the issue continues to resurface. I am not sure what to try at this point besides maybe wipe the computer or replace it (which are last ditch options. Anyways, below is some info on the version of Office and hardware specs, Please let me know. I attached screenshots and have whited out certain info for PII protection as well. Have a look, thanks.

    I'm on built-in AMD Radeon fwiw.

    Another thing I've noticed that appears related: shortly before the graphics get scrambled, button clicks miss the mouse location by a bit. So when clicking on an email to select it, I end up selecting the email immediately above the one I selected. Same with calendar entries. By about the time I realize I can get the right item by clicking lower on the screen, the graphics become jumbled.

    Are you on win 10 and the affected user is on win 11?

    I'm on win 10, get the same blue banner and have no scramble issues.

    No, both banners came from W10 machines. I've heard from others that they see scrambling with both banner styles but I'm not yet sure why I even have different banners on various machines. The apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc) look totally different on the machines with the white banner. To be clear I am still only seeing the scrambling on machines with the white banner. PCs with blue banners are fine.

    One thing on my end that may be notable is that the PCs affected are older and due for replacement. They run old GeForce 8400GS vid cards for dual video. I'm replacing the affected machines next week rather than waiting for MS to fix it.

    Try install DirectX Web Installer. It might help. I guess this is an issue for older computers.

    I have a very similar issue with a client. In the middle of typing an outgoing email, suddenly the screen jumbled up (client's words) and looked very similar to the above screenshot. Here's the kicker; this happened before on this client's previously assigned laptop and a new one just assigned in the last two weeks. It just did this today. Here is what the client is using:

    8-Core 1.69 GHz 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz

    I actually just went through the Office "repair" procedure yesterday because of another issue (calendar), and this problem occurred today.

    There is no "display" section in "Options/Advanced".

    Any advice would be appreciated!
