Outlook displays scrambled text, screen all over the place

Hi,

I have a user who has been having an issue with opening Outlook. when opening outlook the entire display shows scrambled text and missing tabs, this occurs randomly and seems to not have a pattern. I can close and re open Outlook and the problem will go away. This is Outlook on Office 365, Version 2112(Build 14729.20260) I have been working with the user for almost a month and have tried applying Dell Command updates, changed screen resolutions, disabled add-ins, ran Office repair, uninstalled and re-installed office, applied latest Office and windows updates and the issue continues to resurface. I am not sure what to try at this point besides maybe wipe the computer or replace it (which are last ditch options. Anyways, below is some info on the version of Office and hardware specs, Please let me know. I attached screenshots and have whited out certain info for PII protection as well. Have a look, thanks.

    Hi,

    I will update the current channel version and let you know what the results are.

    This issue only happens with Outlook application

    There is no Display option under Advanced tab in Options, so I cannot uncheck disable hardware graphics acceleration

    I'm going to take an educated guess and say that this is just another issue that Microsoft is going to ignore and let continue. Outlook is not usable with this bug. Clearly the developers at MS are more interested in moving buttons around and changing the GUI than actually fixing errors and issues that affect usability. The whole time that they are failing to resolve these types of issues with 2016 and O365, they are busy blocking your old versions that actually work correctly, such as 2010. Doing this on a "ohhh it's for your security" basis, which is complete horse ****. It's done to make MS more money.

    I've never seen such a dysfunctional company.

    Oh, and if you want to know how to go back to running Outlook 2010 on Exchange servers by defeating Microsoft's elementary level block, let me know. I'll be doing a YouTube video on that later today.

    We have seen this same issue on several PC's Closing Outlook and reopening clears it up for a while. This started happening a few weeks ago.

    I will save everyone the time to read all those articles, even though well written.

    1. Possible memory issue with the rendering, so they suggest install/run Office 64bit, so it can access more than 2GB of memory. I am already running 64bit Outlook and my system has a lot of unused memory when the scrambling occurred.
    2. Update Windows, Office, Graphics Card driver - all mine are updated. I am letting WU install/deploy updates as soon as available on my machine already. There no newer graphics driver.
    3. If all this still fails to help, disable hardware acceleration in Outlook. The shown screenshot might be from older version of Outlook and I don't have such checkbox in my version. Other posts indicate it's missing for others as well.

    Glad someone is looking at this issue but not a lot of useful information in those articles...

    Mine is also doing this. I cannot find any help online. I uninstalled and reinstalled and have the most recent version of Outlook and it is still doing it. There is no option to disable graphics acceleration, as others have suggested.
