Outlook for Mac 2016 losing connection with Shaw email server per attached sync error message

This is a typical set of error messages I am getting from my Outlook. It seems the Outlook is losing the connection to the Shaw email server. Or the email server is rejecting the outlook requests for email. Outlook is set to check for email every minute.

    Latest info

    Found a numbered file from messages.

    Copied it and pasted it into the new profile I made up.

    Made new profile the default

    Now Outlook 16.16 with new profile won't open with the imported data from main profile.

    Getting message new latest version.....

    Removed the numbered message file from the new profile.

    Outlook 16.16 with new profile now giving ...need latest version....

    Clearly something about 16.32 has changed the access to my old OLM files.

    The answer lies within Microsoft.

    Do you have access to someone in MS who knows how to reverse this?

    Otherwise I think you're going to have to give me a subscription to Outlook 16.32 in Office 365 so I can access my historical Outlook files (16 plus years of data)

    Hi Jim,

    I just rechecked all the replies in this thread, you said "In the 16.32 version all the OLM files are available", if you can open your old profile with the latest version 16.32 of outlook client, then you can try below steps to see if it helps:

    1. Export items to an archive file in Outlook for Mac
    2. Create a new Mac user profile and only install the version 16.16 on the new Mac user profile.
    3. Create a new outlook profile in the new Mac user profile.
    4. Import the archive file you exported in the step 1 to the new outlook profile in the new Mac user profile.

    Did as you suggested which included exporting the olm file to Downloads.

    however when i log off my originsl mac use profile snd log onto the new mac use profile i cant access the olm fil in the download as its in the other uset files.

    Will now try to export the olm files to icloud then download them to the other profile.

    Will report back

    I finally ended up exporting the olm file to downloads in the original Mac user profile and then transfer  the olm file from downloads to a USB stick

    Then open outlook 16.16 in the new Mac user profile and import the data.

    The 16.16 has found the data and has opened it so it's working.

    However a bunch of the files are missing so I have to go back and forth between the files in 16.32 in the original Mac user and the files in 16.16 in the new user Mac profile and find out what's missing.

    I also need to know how to get this 16.16 version of Outlook back onto my original Mac user profile.

    And this is taking an enormous amount of time, hours and hours.
