Outlook will not open Windows 10

I have had this problem for 2 days on my lap top.  Outlook 365 will not open in start uninstalled it last night and reinstalled it with advice off someone it was ok last night then back to not opening any advice please?

My Outlook Windows 7 on my PC is fine

    Re-start the PC, once its fully loaded, try to start OL, if it fails and there is no error msg, check Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) ensure that the outlook.exe process is not running, if its, end the process. 

    Then hold the Ctrl Key when starting OL, you should get a msg about safe mode, OK it, does OL then start?

    If it starts, then

    **·**Within OL>File>Options>Add-ins>Manage Com Add-ins>Go....... what is listed whether active or not?

    Hi Sue,

    If your Outlook won't open, please follow the steps to check if the issue persists.

    1. Press "Win + R" and type "Outlook.exe /resetnavpane" to check if Outlook opens.
    2. Press "Win + R" and type "Outlook.exe /safe" to check if Outlook opens.

    While if the issue persists, I'd like to collect the following info before we process further.

    1. May I know if the following window pops up when you open Outlook? If so, is there any error message? Please capture a screenshot of the error message for us.

    1. If there's no error message, please open Word and go to File > Account > About Word to capture a screenshot of the Office suite version info.

    Most of the info I've found on the error suggests a re-install should help.  Assuming you have Windows 10, go to Start > Settings > Apps, scroll down to Microsoft Office (May be called Microsoft App for Business), select it, click Modify, select either Quick Repair or Online Repair and let it run.  This has fixed the issue for a number of folks.  There was an issue with an earlier version of Outlook, that was repaired as of version 1803 (Build 9126.2116) which was released in March of 2018, see the following:

    The engineering folks are aware and working on it.  Reverting to a prior build has fixed the issue for many.  From a Command Prompt:

    cd %programfiles%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun 

    officec2rclient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.12827.20470

    The answer for me was to simply update Office - open any application that will open, select "Account" and from that update, even though it was already tagged for automatic updates.
