When I send an an email through my gmail account via the Outlook IOS mobile app, the sent email shows up a draft in gmail on my desktop browser. It doesn't show up as a sent email in thread. How do I make sent emails show up as sent and not as a draft?
I tried deleting and reinstalling Outlook on my iphone X. Interestingly, it worked for the first few minutes and then it started saving as draft again. I'm not sure if there was some minor update in between hard re-installs.

This is done already.
Also uninstall & re-install is done.
Force stop & start is also done.
Still doesn't work.
I have the same issue with emails going to draft when sending from my app on the phone.

Surprised to hear, that, they don't have any plans to fix this known issue. :(
If it takes long, we may need to think of other options. :(
Hi Rajesh, I checked and confirmed that this is a known issue. We don't have an estimated time yet as to when it will be resolved. However, Our dev team is already aware of this and they are already working on a fix.
We recommend that you continue to update to the latest app version so you don't miss the fix.

I noted an update to Outlook for iOS this morning and so far I've not had the dreaded drafts dilemma! It may be that they have fixed it without telling Rajesh. I'm sure he will be miffed.
I just deleted the app. I can deal with the draft icon showing up
