When I send an an email through my gmail account via the Outlook IOS mobile app, the sent email shows up a draft in gmail on my desktop browser. It doesn't show up as a sent email in thread. How do I make sent emails show up as sent and not as a draft?
I tried deleting and reinstalling Outlook on my iphone X. Interestingly, it worked for the first few minutes and then it started saving as draft again. I'm not sure if there was some minor update in between hard re-installs.

This BUG is not something to be ignored. We don't know & not sure whether the mail was sent or not.
MSFT replied: This is a known bug & there is no timeline for the fix.

I’m having same issue. I have a gmail email address. When I send an email from my iPhone via Outlook, it shows up as a Draft message even though the message actually got delivered and shows as a sent message on my Windows laptop.
Just wanted to raise my hand on this one too. Been battling it for months since I got a new iphone.
This is a persistent issue for my primary Gmail account in Outlook for both IOS (iPad) and iphone and is becoming very frustrating having to double check every email I send has actually gone out and then clear down the superfluous Draft items.
This app used to be so good and now just keeps getting worse. They should just focus on improvements and not junk that makes it worse.
how about adding html signatures??? That would be worth the effort.
Same issue here.
I've dropped the Outlook app for now and switched to the Gmail app. I much prefer Outlook, but I can't do e-mail when I am unsure if the message was sent.
